Rachel Admed, Speech and Language Pathologist

Rachel Ahmed

Rachel is inspired to help individuals find their voices and overcome communication challenges. Her passion for helping others communicate led her to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. She graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in 2005 and earned a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Brooklyn College in 2008. She is a licensed and practicing Speech-Language Pathologist in the states of New York and New Jersey, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a recipient of the ASHA Ace Award for her commitment to continuing education.

Rachel has over 18 years of experience in the field. She has worked with the early intervention population, school-age, adolescent, and adult populations throughout her career as an independent contractor and through various private practices. She has conducted initial speech/language evaluations for the Committee on Special Education through the New York City Department of Education. She is currently employed by the New York City Department of Education, working with the preschool and elementary populations.

Danielle Graziano

Danielle believes in the idea that with the use of creative and unique teaching and learning strategies, the most successful outcomes are ones that include enjoyable, episodic, and core experiences. This has been her guiding principle and reason for choosing SLP as her profession. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at St. John’s University with a major in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and was the President of the Speech-Language Pathology Club. She earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from New York University and received the New York City Department of Education Scholarship for Speech-Language Pathology. She is a licensed and practicing Speech-Language Pathologist in the States of New York and New Jersey, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Through her academic, clinical, and professional work, Danielle has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including preschool, elementary, and middle school, the home environment, private practice, and remote settings.

Danielle has over 18 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist and is currently working for the New York City Department of Education. She has advanced training and experience working in the ASD NEST Program for the Department of Education with an in-depth concentration in servicing children with ASD.
